  4. Hi! This week I’ve posted on the dangers of genetically modified foods and why we need labeling to make informed choices, since these novel crops have never been tested for safety and have been implicated in everything from the increase in food allergies to the increase in infertility.

    I also posted on the hazards of sunscreens, most of which contain petrochemical ingredients and endocrine disruptors which are absorbed directly into your bloodstream, as well as how to find a sunscreen so safe, you could eat it.

  10. Thanks for hosting again, Andrea. Wow, there are a lot of interesting posts this week to get us thinking frugally and sustainably. I shared my post on dandelions, including a dandelion snack recipe that is melt-in-your-mouth delicious and full of potassium, as well as all the herbal medicinal goodness of dandelions. Dandelions are being used at the University of Windsor, in Canada, as a treatment in leukemia, successfully.
